Simon Evening of Giving™
More than 5,000 ticket holders crowded into the Town Center at Boca
Raton, November 18, for the Simon Evening of Giving™, the biggest
charity shopping event of the year.
105 local non-profits, participated up from 65 last year. Entertainment
included live performances by Elvis Tribute Artist Chris MacDonald;
Florida Intergenerational Orchestra; Yuletide Strolling Carolers;
Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders and Florida Panthers Ice Dancers; “A
Charlie Brown Christmas” musical cast; and Santa Claus.
A professional runway fashion show featured Miss Boca Raton, Miss
Teen Boca Raton, Ms. United States 2007, Venetia C. Tiberi (Town Center),
Carlos Barroso (St. Andrews School), George Petrocelli and Carole
Boucard (Boca Raton Resort & Club) and community leaders: Peter
Baronoff and MJ “Mike” Arts. Fashions were provided by
Ann Taylor, CH Carolina Herrera, After Hours, Bloomingdale’s,
Blue Fish, Cache, Cache Lux, Club Monaco, J Jill, Nicole Miller, macy*s,
Custo Barcelona, Landau, Talbots, Tommy’s Island, Coach, and
Brighton Collectibles.
The VIP Area was hosted by Champion Motors and Audi in association
with RCC Associates; Allianz Championship; Boca Raton Observer; Kaye
Communications, Inc.; SuperSlow® Zone; Women That Win and WRMF-FM.
