Workman Robbed
An air conditioner repairman was robbed at gunpoint about 9:40 p.m. Monday, according to Boca Raton police.
Spokeswoman Officer Sandra Boonenberg said the man was repairing an air conditioner at a home on Hastings Street when a car pulled up and stopped in front of his truck.
Police said the passenger jumped out and ran to the workman. The report said the robber pointed a gun at him and demanded money. He made off with about $600, his wallet and cell phone, said police.
The vehicle left, heading westbound on Hastings and then north on Dixie Highway, said police. The repairman was not hurt.

Home Vandalized
Boca Raton police received a report June 9 that juveniles throwing rocks at a home on NW 13th Street smashed a window and also made a “ding” on the front door, police said.
Domestic Battery
Boca Raton police arrested a 22-year-old man on a charge of domestic battery after he allegedly punched his father in the head, police said.
Gas Mixup
A Boca Raton woman told police June 9 that she prepaid $30 for gasoline that was mistakenly credited to the wrong pump. She said someone else pumped the gas into his car and fled before the woman could notify the attendant, the police report said.
False Name
Boca Raton police nabbed a woman just before 1 a.m. June 10 and charged her with possession of drug paraphernalia and providing a false name, police said. An officer stopped because it appeared her car had become disabled on North Dixie Highway. The woman was taken to the county jail, said police.
Computer Taken
Boca Raton police received a report June 10 that someone had entered his home and stolen a laptop computer worth $1,500 and a digital camera valued at $150, police said.
