Saturation Patrol
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office will conduct an Aggressive Driving & DUI Saturation Patrol tonight. It will cover the unincorporated area along State Road 7 from Belvedere Road to Lantana Road
It will begin at 7 tonight and continue through 4 a.m. Friday.
Suspect Arrested
Boca Raton police have arrested a suspect in connection with an attempted armed carjacking that occurred June 22 in the Winn-Dixie parking lot at 281 W. Camino Real.
The clerk at a local gas station stated he saw a man who he believed to be the suspect and contacted police.
Officers arrested a 14-year-old juvenile, said Public Information Officer Sandra Boonenberg. She said a small black handgun and clothing items which matched what the suspect was wearing during the previous crime were found at the suspect’s home in Boca Raton.

Tire Slashed
The right rear tire on a bus belonging to the Footprints Academy was slashed, Boca Raton police were told June 9. The vehicle was vandalized while it was in the parking lot, police said. The cost of replacing the tire was estimated at $120.
Card Fraud
A Boca Raton woman contacted police June 9 to report that her credit card had been used at a store at the Town Center at Boca Raton mall, said police.
Home Entered
A Boca Raton resident told police someone entered her residence by prying open the door to a Florida room on the west side of the house. She said the suspect took a 42-inch TV and a jewelry box containing several pieces of jewelry, said police.
Lost Wallet
A resident of Canada told Boca Raton police June 9 that he lost his wallet the previous day. He said it contained his Canadian citizenship and other personal papers along with a credit card, said police.
