Drug Charges

Boca Raton police arrested a suspect about 1:30 a.m. June 9 and charged him with possession of a schedule IV narcotic (clonazepam), according to a report.

Warrant Served

Boca Raton police arrested a suspect about 1:40 a.m. June 9 on a warrant out of Broward County, police said.  The warrant accused him of failure to appear in court to face a traffic violation. He was processed and taken to the Palm Beach County jail, said police.

Stolen Identity

A Boca Raton man told police that an unknown suspect stole his identity by using one of his credit card numbers to open an online account with a large department store, police said.  The suspect then purchased $660 worth of merchandise.  Police said the suspect used a West Virginia phone number as his main number when the order was placed.

Car Burglarized

A resident of Boca Raton told police June 9 that someone burglarized her car.  She said the thief stole a $375 silver radar detector, a pair of $225 Gucci sunglasses, a $450 pair of silver aviator sunglasses, a Sunpass and the owner’s manual for the car, police said.

Vehicle Entered

A Boca Raton resident called police June 9 to report that his car was burglarized while parked at his home, police said.

Cards Stolen

A Boca Raton woman told police June 9 that someone stole two $500 gift cards from her shopping bag at the Town Center at Boca Raton mall, police said.  She said the theft occurred June 1, and after that date, the cards were used at several stores in the mall, a coffee shop and a gas station.

Bike Stolen
