Drug Charge
Boca Raton police arrested three people about 4:40 p.m. June 7 and charged them with possession of narcotics. The trio allegedly had oxycodone. The three, who were taken into custody on St. Andrews Boulevard, were processed at the police station and removed to the county jail, said police.
Shutters Stolen
A resident of Boca Raton told police June 7 that someone stole all of his aluminum hurricane shutters from the porch of his home during the past week, said police.
Narcotics Taken
A Boca Raton man told police June 8 that someone entered his home and stole a quantity of prescription drugs.
Shoplifter Fled
Boca Raton police said a suspect stole a knife and a flashlight from the Kmart Store on West Palmetto Park Road about 1:30 p.m. June 8 and fled, police said. He left the area in a blue van, said witnesses. The merchandise was valued at $34, police said.
Pickup Entered
A Boca Raton man told police June 8 that someone broke into his pickup truck while he was playing tennis. Several items were stolen, he told police.
Drug Arrest
Following a traffic stop on South Federal Highway, Boca Raton police arrested a woman and charged her with possession of cocaine, possession of a Schedule III drug (sebutex) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said she was removed to the county jail.
Minors Had Alcohol
Boca Raton police arrested a male juvenile about 12:10 a.m. June 9 and charged him with being a minor in possession of alcohol. He was also accused of having a fake driver’s license out of California, said police. He was released to his parents. Also, a young woman was arrested on a charge of being under 21 in possession of alcohol, police said. She was released on her own recognizance, with a date to appear in court.
