Shoes Stolen
Boca Raton police arrested a woman about 9:30 p.m. June 6 and charged her with shoplifting a pair of shoes from the Saks Fifth Avenue store in Town Center at Boca Raton mall, police said. The shoes were valued at $453, police said. The suspect was processed and taken to the county jail, said police.
Loitering Warrant
Boca Raton police arrested a man just after 1 a.m. June 7 on North Federal Highway. Police said the man was wanted on a warrant from Broward County for loitering and prowling.
DUI Arrest
Boca Raton police arrested a 40-year-old woman about 1:25 a.m. June 7 and charged her with driving while under the influence of alcohol, police said. The car was stopped in the 5000 block of North Federal Highway, police said. The report said the woman refused to give a breath sample.
Home Entered
A Boca Raton resident called police June 6 to report that someone pried the interior garage door and removed a Play Station 2, cash and jewelry from the bedrooms, police said.
Retail Theft
Boca Raton police said a woman stole four pairs of Gucci sunglasses from the Sunglass Hut at the Town Center at Boca Raton mall, police said. She took the items from a display and left the store, said police. Store officials said the glasses were valued at about $1,090.
Vandalism Reported
Boca Raton police received a call from a medical clinic June 7 reporting that a window was smashed. Nothing was taken, police said, but they were told that this is the second incident in a three-week period that the same window was smashed.
Also, police said, someone smashed a front window a furniture store on North Federal Highway. The incident was reported June 7.
