Shoplift Report
Boca Raton police arrested two female juveniles about 7 p.m. June 5 at the Town Center at Boca Raton mall and charged them with shoplifting. According to police, the girls helped each other steal a pair of shoes valued at $134 from Macy’s. Both suspects were released, one to her mother, police said.
Apartment Entered
Boca Raton police are investigating a report of a theft from an apartment on South Ocean Boulevard reported June 5, police said. The woman who lives there said someone took $200 in cash, a camera and a Movado watch from the kitchen table, said police.
Alcohol Possession
Boca Raton police arrested a suspect about 12:50 a.m. June 6 on a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office warrant charging him with being a minor in possession of alcohol. The suspect’s car was pulled over on West Yamato Road. He was processed at the police station, then taken to the county jail, police said.
Trash Can Theft
A woman contacted Boca Raton police June 6 to report that a $15 green plastic garbage can was stolen from the swale in front of her house, according to police.
Car Damaged
Boca Raton police are investigating a report that someone damaged a woman’s car June 6. The report said that while the car was parked in front of her apartment someone smashed the rear window of the vehicle. The woman said she found splinters on the glass, possibly from a bat used the smash the pane, police said.
Sign Vandalism
Boca Raton police said the property manager for a condominium project on NW Second Avenue told authorities June 6 that someone damaged the lettering on the entrance sign. Students waiting for a school bus told her that a youth stood on the letters to climb over the wall and broke them, said the report.
