Disorderly Conduct

Boca Raton police arrested a suspect about 11:35 p.m. May 23 on a charge of disorderly conduct.  He was taken into custody during an event at the Mizner Park Amphitheater after he was shouting and throwing his beverages on the ground, police said.  This occurred after police asked him not to drink alcohol in the streets.  Police said he was taken to the county jail.

Tickets Taken

The owner of a convenience store on Camino Real told Boca Raton police May 23 that someone stole Florida Lottery scratch tickets from his store, police said.

Drug Charges

Boca Raton police arrested a suspect May 24 on charges of possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana.  The arrest took place during a traffic stop on North Military Trail, police said.  The suspect was processed at the police station and released on his own recognizance, with a date to appear in court.

Wallet Stolen

Boca Raton police said someone smashed out the windows of a car parked on NE 8th Street May 24 and stole a man’s wallet.  The thief or thieves also smashed their way into another vehicle and removed a model car from the rear window.

Shoplifting Report

An assistant manager at the Ann Taylor Loft store in Town Center at Boca Raton mall told police she found a $69 dress missing and two shoplifting sensors nearby. 

Suspicious Activity

Two men were arrested about 1:30 a.m. May 24 on charges of loitering and prowling, according to Boca Raton police.  They were observed driving suspiciously in the underground parking lot of Palmetto Place, police said.  The pair was taken to the county jail after giving police conflicting reports of what they were doing.

Shutters Taken

A Boca Raton man told police May 24 that a set of accordion hurricane shutters was stolen from his property.  He said they were valued at $2,000.
