Boca Raton Police Blotter

Doctor Stiffed

The office assistant for a Boca Raton doctor contacted police May 23 to report that a patient had left without paying his $205 bill, police said.  The assistant said the man arrived for his appointment, and after his visit, he went to his car to get a credit card, he said.  The man did not return, police said.

Bike Stolen

A Boca Raton woman told police May 23 that someone stole her husband’s bicycle from the carport. The woman told police her son left the bike there earlier in the day, the police report said.

Vehicle Theft

A Boca Raton resident told police May 23 that a man who borrowed her car is refusing to return it, police said.  According to a report, the woman said she spoke to the borrower and he said he would not bring it back.  She completed a stolen car affidavit, police said, and the vehicle information was entered into the national crime computer.

SUV entered

A Boca Raton man told police May 23 that someone entered his SUV while it was parked in the driveway.  The man said the front driver’s side window was smashed and entry was gained.  Police said the stereo was pulled out and left on the front seat.  Amplifiers and subwoofers were stolen from the trunk.

Tickets Taken

The owner of a convenience store on Camino Real told Boca Raton police May 23 that someone stole Florida Lottery scratch tickets from his store, police said.

Disorderly Conduct

Boca Raton police arrested a suspect about 11:35 p.m. May 23 on a charge of disorderly conduct.  He was taken into custody during an event at the Mizner Park Amphitheater after he was shouting and throwing his beverages on the ground, police said.  This occurred after police asked him not to drink alcohol in the streets.  Police said he was taken to the county jail.
