Stolen Tag

Boca Raton police arrested a motorist about 4:12 a.m. May 23after it was determined he was driving a car with a stolen tag attached, police said.  The incident occurred in the 1000 block of South Federal Highway, according to a report.

Car Recovered

Boca Raton police reported recovering a 1995 Nissan Maxima on North Federal Highway just before 4:30 a.m. on May 23, police said. The vehicle was reported stolen out of Miami, said police.  The vehicle was towed and Miami police were notified, the report said.

Three Burglaries

A Boca Raton police report said three cars were burglarized between the evening of May 22 and the morning of May 23, a report said.  Entry was gained by smashing the driver’s side window.  The thief or thieves removed a radio from one car, speakers and an amplifier from another while additional speakers were taken from the third car, police said.

Threatening Calls

A Boca Raton man complained to police May 23 that he had received threatening telephone calls from an acquaintance of his girlfriend who lives in Pembroke Pines, police said.  The victim said the calls began six weeks ago.  Also, said the police, the alleged caller was waiting for the victim in a parking lot the evening of May 17. 

Vehicles Entered

Boca Raton police received a report May 23 that someone smashed windows to gain entry to a van and a box truck at a business on NW Second avenue, police said.  The intruders went through both vehicles, but took only a GPS system from the truck.  Nothing was missing from the van, police said.

Iphone Taken

A Boca Raton woman told police May 23 that she left her $600 Iphone on the counter at a Boca Raton gas station about 9 a.m. May 23.  She left, but returned about 10 minutes later when she realized it was missing.  The clerk said an unknown male who was behind her in line may have taken it, police said.
