Drunken Driving
Boca Raton police arrested a motorist May 2 and charged him with driving while under the influence of alcohol. Police said officers stopped his car on Interstate 95 about 2:20 a.m. He was taken to the Boca Raton police station where two breath samples were taken. He was than transported to the county jail, police said.
Home Invasion
A north Boca Raton woman told police someone entered her home about 3:40 a.m. on May 2 and pushed her to the floor. The suspect then left through the back door. The woman said nothing was taken from her home.
Vehicle Vandalized
A resident of Boca Raton told police May 2 that someone smashed the rear window of her SUV. She said the vehicle was parked in her driveway when the incident occurred. Police estimated damage at $400, according to a report.
Camper Burglarized
A Boca Raton resident reported to police May 1 that someone pried two window latches of the camper attached to the rear of his pickup truck. The thief stole fishing equipment from the camper, said police.
Drug Charge
Following a traffic stop about 6:30 p.m. on May 1, Boca Raton police arrested a motorist and charged him with possession of 58.5 grams of marijuana, according to a report.
Window Shattered
A Boca Raton woman told police May 1 that someone smashed the rear window of her SUV while it was parked ate her residence, according to a report.
Battery Arrest
While investigating a report of a disturbance on South Federal Highway just before 9 p.m. on May 1, police arrested a male suspect for domestic battery. He allegedly grabbed his live-in girlfriend by the arms, leaving several bruises, police said. He was taken to the county jail.
