Battery Report
A Boca Raton workman told police March 7 that he was pushed by a customer after a dispute over a bill for work the victim had done on his assailant’s house, police said. The victim said he did not wish to prosecute, but would handle the matter in small claims court, police said.
Phones Stolen
A woman told Boca Raton police March 7 that someone stole her cellular telephone from the counter of a gasoline station, police said. In an unrelated incident, police said another woman reported her phone stolen while she was at the Muvico Theater on Airport Road.
Battery Arrest
Boca Raton police arrested a local man just before 1:30 p.m. March 7 and charged him with domestic-related simple battery. Police said the man was taken into custody after pushing his son’s mother in their apartment. He was processed at the police station and taken to the county jail, police said.
Truck Burglarized
A Boca Raton resident told police March 7 that someone burglarized his truck while it was parked on Clint Moore Road, police said. The vehicle was ransacked and a Palm Pilot was taken, police said.
Wiring Damaged
The light assembly on a trailer owned by the city of Boca Raton was damaged March 7, police said. The wiring was cut and the lights were removed. The license plate was also taken. The vehicle was parked at the city complex on NW 1st Avenue, police said.
Shoplifter Caught
Boca Raton police arrested a woman shortly after 3 p.m. March 7 and charged her with shoplifting at a store in Town Center at Boca Raton mall, police said. The report said she stole $54 worth of goods, said police. The suspect was taken to the county jail.
GPS Stolen
A Boca Raton woman told police March 7 her car was broken into by a thief who stole a GPS tracker and a phone charger, police said.
