Kevin Capp earns DO degree

Kevin Capp received the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O) from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. The ceremony took place at the Louis J. Tullio Arena in Erie, Pa. June 1. Dr. Capp is the son of Clifford and Dolores Capp of Boca Raton.
These commencement ceremonies not only closed the college year, but also marked LECOM’s 15th anniversary; the college opened in August 1993.
Dr. Capp will now participate in osteopathic internships through the American Osteopathic Association intern match program, or choose a medical specialty internship and residency program. Osteopathic medicine emphasizes a whole-person approach to health care. The D.O. helps each individual achieve wellness by focusing on health education, injury prevention, and disease prevention, according to LECOM.
