Rockingham to receive award as successful businesswoman

The second annual Successful Women in Business “Diamond" Award Luncheon will be held Thursday, July 17 at noon at the Country Club at Boca Raton, 6200 Boca Del Mar Drive, Boca Raton.
At the June membership breakfast, Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce President and CEO, Troy M. McLellan, announced that the event will honor Rocki Rockingham as a DIAMOND (Dedicated, Inspiring, Accomplished, Motivated, Outstanding, Noble and Driven) businesswoman.
Rockingham serves as vice president of Community Relations and Communications for Jarden Consumer Solutions in Boca Raton. For more than a decade, she has been responsible for strategic communications at several Fortune 500 companies.
Rocki has served on numerous boards, volunteered and sponsored charitable events, mentored youth and has consistently given her time to try to make a difference.
The GBRCC invites both men and women to participate in the Successful Women In Business “Diamond" Award luncheon. Tickets are $50 for members and non-member and must be purchased in advance online at www.bocaratonchamber.com (events calendar).
Last year, some 200 guests attended to honor Mary Wong, president of the Office Depot Foundation. This year, the Office Depot Foundation is already signed up as a Marquise Sponsor. Additional sponsorship opportunities and corporate tables for the July 17luncheon are still available.
