Dear Victoria
By Victoria Howard
Dear Victoria,
I am a successful, intelligent and somewhat handsome 42-year-old man, who has trouble committing to one woman. The problem I have is that I’m looking for a woman who wants me for “me” and not for my money. I am so sick of visiting upscale bars and meeting the same type of woman, over and over again. The first thing they do is look to see what type of watch I am wearing. They ask me what I do for a living before finding out my name. Then I notice them looking to see what type of car I get into as I leave. (I drive a new Porsche)
I really want to meet my soul mate and have children, but I am afraid of ending up with a gold digger as most of my buddies have; only to end in divorce court. Do you have any advice on where I can go to meet my Ms. Right?
Sick of Gold Diggers
Dear Sick of Gold Diggers,
I am confused. You are giving me mixed messages. First you say you’re sick of gold-diggers, but continue going to the places these women attend. Second, next time wear a $40 time and drive a Rent-A-Wreck. When they ask your occupation, tell them you are unemployed. if a woman is still interested, she may be the one; if not: kick her to the curb! Why not try joining a charity, or volunteer at Animal Rescue League?
Most women, who are helping our four-legged friends, have a heart and are looking beyond the pocketbook. In any event, you will undoubtedly meet many (four legged) females who will give you unconditional love and love you for you!
