Family medicine physician Merna Matilsky and her office partner Dr. Steven Morris have relocated that practice from Delray Beach to Boca Raton.

Gregory E. Madsen, AIA, has joined Boca Raton based RLC Architects, PA as a Project Director. During his 23-year career, Madsen has been involved with the design, quality assurance and environmental aspects of projects throughout the U.S. He is a registered Architect in the states of Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and Minnesota. He is also a registered Interior Designer. Madsen earned his architectural degree at North Dakota State University, and has studied design in England, France, Spain and Italy.

Boca Raton-based Coverall Cleaning Concepts has expanded its executive team with the appointment of Patrick Joyce as chief operating officer. Joyce spent the past seven years in various group and global financial management positions with Procter and Gamble.
In his new post, he is responsible for managing Coverall Cleaning Concepts sales and operations. His previous experience includes seven years with the Marine Corps. He holds an MBA from the University of Kentucky and an undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina.

The 2008 South Florida Legal Guide has named Daniel R. Levine, a shareholder with the Boca Raton law firm Shapiro, Blasi, Wasserman and Gora P.A., a “Top Up and Comer”. Joining him on this list is Robin I. Cohen, an associate with the firm. Levine, board-certified in labor and employment law by the Florida Bar, heads up the firm’s Labor and Employment Law practice group. Cohen’s practice focuses on commercial litigation and labor and employment.

Skanska USA Building announced that Tom Fawcett has joined its South Florida office as the preconstruction director of electrical. In this position, he will oversee the office’s electrical estimating work on most projects and direct the solicitation of appropriate subcontractors. In addition, Skanska also announced that Chris Peace has joined its South Florida office as the preconstruction director of mechanical. Peace will oversee the office’s mechanical estimating work on most projects and direct the solicitation of appropriate subcontractors.

Prime Management has announced the promotion of Tia El-Maayergy as Director of Property Services, expanding her responsibilities to include supervision of Prime services to more than 350 managed homeowner and community associations. El-Maayergy’s responsibilities include purchasing and cost containment, company-wide risk management and safety training, fleet management and the management and supervision of the janitorial, irrigation, plumbing, pest control divisions. She joined Prime in 1995 as Purchasing Manager and later became Director of Ancillary Services. El-Maayergy holds a BS degree in Business Administration from San Francisco State University and is a graduate of the Vienna International School in Vienna, Austria.

The Tri County Humane Society's Thrift Shop has moved to a new location at 2980 N. Federal Highway in Blum's Plaza. Store hours are Tuesday - Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Donations of good used furniture, clothing, jewelry and household items are welcome. All donations are tax deductible and proceeds from the sales go toward emergency medical treatment for the animals at Tri County.

Levitt Capital Management, LLC (LCM), based in Boca Raton has hired Veronica Panov as Chief Compliance Officer, according to Robert Levitt, founder and chief investment officer. According to Levitt, the move is in response to growing complexities in the compliance area and the need for additional personnel and oversight.
Prior to joining LCM, Ms. Panov was an Associate in the Law Offices of Bernice A. DeYoung in Plantation, since 2006.

Accounting firm Morrison, Brown, Argiz and Farra, LLP, which has an office in Boca Raton, has been named one of the top 25 best-managed accounting firms in the nation by trade publication Inside Public Accounting. This is the 12th year overall and fifth consecutive year that MBAF has been included on the list. Founded in Miami in 1969 with a staff of 12, MBAF now employs 275 people across six locations, including Boca.
