Sachs & Sax has added a new Chief Operating Officer, Bernadette E. Peters, CLM, in the firm’s Boca Raton office. Peters is a certified legal manager who will oversee administration for the firm’s three Florida offices. Peters has more than 25 years of management and leadership experience. Prior to joining Sachs & Sax, she held the position of firm administrator for the law firm of Shutts & Bowen LLP.
Cindy Weeks has recently been promoted to director of business development at Robb & Stucky Interiors in Palm Beach Gardens. A part of the Robb & Stucky Interiors team since the showroom opened its doors in northern Palm Beach County two years ago, Weeks was originally brought on board as sales manager.
Laura Butler, ASID, has joined the design team at Robb & Stucky Interiors in the company's Boca Raton, Mizner Park location. A design graduate from the State University of New York's Buffalo campus, Butler got her start interning for icon Virginia Mosley, the first woman to design a commercial interior on Wall Street. Following graduation, Butler continued to get involved with commercial and institutional projects through various architectural firms like Cannon Design.
Don Boerema has joined ADT North America as chief marketing officer for the company, headquartered in Boca Raton. In this new position, Boerema is responsible for strategic marketing, identifying new market opportunities and leading the development of new value-added products and services for both residential and commercial markets. He comes to ADT from FDN, a privately held telecommunications company in Orlando where he served as president and chief operating officer. “ADT is a great brand with a stellar reputation and a strong customer base,” Boerema said. “The team is already underway with developing and implementing highly effective products and services. Boerema holds an MBA from Eastern Illinois University.
Lynn Delaney has been named chief financial officer of the Adolph & Rose Levis JCC in Boca Raton. In her new role, she will oversee day-to-day financial operations, including the agency’s accounting and reporting, financial planning and analysis, billing and collections, disbursements and internal auditing. “Lynn brings more than 25 years of financial insights and experience,” said Martin Schneer, executive director for the Levis JCC. Prior joining Levis JCC, Delaney was a special projects manager for Nearman & Associates in Miami, and before that, was director of finance & accounting for the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County. She also serves as acting CFO for Jewish Family & Children’s Services.
